Alternative Electricity in a box charges power debates South Africa is in the grips of an energy crisis. Eskom has been given the green light to increase the cost of electricity by 25% per annum for the next three years, which will effectively double the price of electricity in all communities.
Eskom has also been given the green light to build more power stations – coal burning power stations that will deliver thousands of tons of polluting effluent into the air.
